COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION AAFES Pharmacy Furniture Refresh Solicitation Number FM442571437000 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the AAFES Pharmacy Furniture Refresh prepared in accordance with the Performance Work Statement and format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FM442571437000 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. This solicitation will be a total small business set-aside in accordance with 52.219-6 -- Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 337215 (Showcase, partition, shelving, and locker manufacturing), with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Pursuant to FAR 13.3, this acquisition shall comply with the simplified acquisition procedures. Location of the Government site is aboard Joint Base Andrews-NAF Washington, MD 20762 and will be identified in the contract. The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract. The Government intends to award one contract as a result of this solicitation; however, the Government reserves the right to award no contract at all, depending on the quality of offers submitted. Quoters responding to this announcement shall submit their quote in accordance with FAR 52.212-1. All pricing quoted shall be F.O.B. destination. The basis for award is lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA). "LPTA" means lowest price that meets or exceeds what is needed for this requirement.
