- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The National Park Service intends to solicit a proposal and enter into a contract with Fraley Propane LLC, 6723 Highway 491 S, Cortez, CO 81321 under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Intent of the NPS is to establish a purchase order using firm fixed prices for the purchase of currently leased propane tanks. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of, proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice; however, any firm that believes they have capabilities to provide this equipment in a more economical manner may give written notification to the Contracting Officer at randy_sadler@nps.gov. All comments received before 1700 ET July 31, 2017 will be considered.
