- Performance Work Statement (PWS) Sources Sought Number - FA4819-17-R-6003, Silver Flag Support Services at Tyndall AFB, FL This is NOT a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5. This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a synopsis or solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for contract award. When the solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the Federal Business Opportunities website and all interested parties shall obtain the solicitation from this website. The 325 Contracting Squadron (325 CONS) at Tyndall AFB, FL is seeking qualified interested 8(a) sources ONLY to provide manpower support for the following positions: Resource Management Support, Fire Equipment/Facility Maintenance Support, and Information Technology (IT) Support. The Contractor will perform all work in accordance with the Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS), all applicable laws, regulations, Headquarters Air Force standards, instructions, and commercial practices. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of 8(a) qualified and interested small businesses with experience relative to NAICS Code 541990 with a size standard of $15.0 million. The basic contract is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract. Period of performance is expected to be 12 month base year with 4 one year option periods. Additionally, a 6 month option extension will be included in the requirement in accordance with FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. The Government will not award a contract solely on the basis of this Sources Sought Notice, nor will it reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. Any interested parties shall ensure they are registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). To register and create an account in SAM, go to https://www.sam.gov or call 866-606-8220 8am - 8 pm (Eastern Time) for assistance. 325 CONS is requesting all interested and qualified 8(a) businesses ONLY respond to this sources sought notice with the following information: (1) name, address, phone, e-mail and website if applicable; (2) Statement of capability demonstrating background, experience, skills, ability and availability to fulfill the Government's requirements described herein, to include recommended improvements to the Draft Performance Work Statement. This can also include current or past performance of providing same or similar scope of work to the Government. (3) any/all small business classifications; (4) Cage Code, DUNS Number, Business Size and Classification. Responses must be received NLT 7 August 2017, 1:00 PM CST.
