- UNRESTRICTED This requirement is for UNRESTRICTED. NAICS Code 237990. The solicitation number, W912P8-17-B-0030, is anticipated to issue as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The resulting in contract shall be a firm fixed price (FFP). The solicitation will be issued on or about 27 July 2017. The anticipated bid opening date is set for 07 September 2017, however, actual date of bid opening will be determined upon the solicitation advertisement date. The work consists of the removal of all dredged material within the limits of work and to the required dimensions established on this contract, and satisfactory placement of dredged material within the confined disposal areas provided. Existing dikes require enlargement, repair, and maintenance with incidental clearing for access from the channel to the disposal area and within the dike footprint. The estimated value of this work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile, or email requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any amendments. The solicitation documents for this procurement will be posted on FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). You will need the Adobe Reader for.pdf files (www.adobe.com) in order to open most files posted by the New Orleans District.
