- Amendment 1, Attachment - Corrected Drawings, Sheets 10-11 Amendment 1 - SF-30 This project is to make improvements to the Elk City Wagon Road. The work includes but is not limited to reconditioning approximately 18 miles of road, hauling and placing aggregate base course (100 Tons), light brushing along approximately 21 miles of road, removing and disposing of existing culverts and open tops, installation of drivable dips, installation of approximately 374 feet of 18 and 36 inch new culvert and 41 Government Furnished open-top box culverts, installation of 26 Government Furnished signs, and all other incidental items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. Price Range The Government's estimate for the project is between $100,000 and $250.000. Start Work: Work on the project site shall commence no earlier than July 1, 2017, and proceed in accordance with the contractor's approved work schedule and run continuously till the end of the project no later than July 30, 2018. Location: This project is located east of Grangeville on the Elk City Wagon Road on Forest Roads 284, 1858, and 1808. The project starts south of the town of Clearwater, ID on FR 284 at the start of National Forest land and follows the Elk City Wagon Road for 25.31 miles. The project is in the Salmon River, Moose Creek and Red River Ranger Districts in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests. The project begins in Section 31, Township 31 N, Range 5 E and ends in Section 9, Township 29 N, Range 7 E. Solicitation issued 7/5/2017 with offers due 8/3/2017. Amendment 1 was issued on 7/21/17 to correct errors on Sheets 10-11 of the Drawings.
