Description
The Market Research Document did not load to the website in the original posting. The text of that document is included below. MARKET RESEARCH PLANNING Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) 19 July, 2017 Background: The DIA Chief Information Office (CIO) has the need to be on the forefront in technology and Information Technology (IT) engineering to continue to ensure the efficacy of the crucial intelligence mission. As the DIA IT transformational strategic plan moves forward, even further emphasis on these critical skills for DIA officers will take center stage. Massive reductions in contractor workforce processing these skills also underline the importance of obtaining this skillset for DIA officers. For the afore-mentioned reasons, DIA/CIO is seeking a fully accredited academic provider to deliver online courses in software systems engineering at the graduate level. Since the program is the working adults, DIA/CIO requires that international cadre be actively employed or have been actively employed in the software systems engineering area, either in government or in the private sector, and not be purely focused on theory. Instructional cadre must also be U.S. citizens and agree to an FBI background check. It is also required that the academic institution providers accept previously earned credits from other accredited institutions with the same course content. Purpose of Market Research: To determine what academic providers offer delivery of onsite courses in software systems engineering at the graduate level that meets DIA/CIO's specific requirements. Technical Point of Contact: Antonette Chahine, 301-277-8414 Senior Strategist, Office of the CIO, DIA
