- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NSWC IHEODTD), intends to award a firm fixed price sole source procurement with Technobis Crystallization Systems B.V. Pyriestraat 2 Alkmaar, Noord-Holland, 1812 SC NEITHERLANDS To provide: The contractor shall deliver Crystal16 Multiple reactor system QTY: 1  16 reactors  4 Temperature zones  0,1 ºC Temperature accuracy  0-20ºC/minute heating/cooling rate  Temperature range -15ºC to 150ºC  Variable magnetic steering in each reactor  Turbidity measurement in each reactor  Overhead Stirring The system is CE certified and meets the standards under the EMC directive 89/336/EEC Power box QTY: 1  110-230 V, 50/60 Hz Crystal16 operating software QTY: 1  Version 1.0 This operating software is part of the complete system and free of any license fees for the lifetime of the equipment. Ethernet Cables QTY: 1 Operating manual QTY: 1 Installation including application training onsite QTY: 1 CrystalClear TM data analysis software, site license QTY: 1 Laptop with software installed QTY: 1 The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334513, Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables which has an annual size standard of 500 employees. Interested vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The circumstance permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition is Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements." The intent of this synopsis is to determine if any sources exist, and therefore, no Request for Quote (RFQ) is available. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all information received by 8/7/2017, 9:00 a.m. EST will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon the responses received from this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
