The contractor will provide janitorial services seven (7) days a week for approximately 53,661 square feet of TSA occupied space dedicated to passenger and baggage screening operations. This acquisition is unrestricted and will be conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 "Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items". The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561720 "Janitorial Services". The City and County of San Francisco will not be able to lease janitorial closets with access to water and sewage. Therefore, all responsible sources who currently perform on airport property and have access to water and sewage are eligible to respond to this solicitation. TSA intends to award a firm fixed price contract with one (1) base year and four (4) one-year option periods, as well as a possible extension of performance not to exceed six months, on a competitive basis to one responsive and responsible Quoter. The apparent awardee shall be considered responsible as defined within the meaning of FAR part 9.104-1. All questions or request for clarifications shall be submitted electronically in writing via email to the Contract Specialist, Mr. Michael Capovilla at michael.capovilla@tsa.dhs.gov. Questions or request for clarifications must be received via email no later than 3:00 PM local Washington, DC time on Friday, July 28, 2017. All quotations shall be submitted electronically via email to the Contract Specialist, Mr. Michael Capovilla, at michael.capovilla@tsa.dhs.gov. Facsimile and/or hardcopy submittals will not be accepted. Quotations must be received via email no later than 3:00 PM local Washington, DC time on Friday, September 1, 2017. The anticipated award date for this acquisition is on or before November 3, 2017. Prospective Quoters are hereby notified that future information about this acquisition, including subsequent amendments, will only be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. Prospective Quoters are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website to assure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Prospective Quoters offering a response to this solicitation must ensure that they are registered, active, and current in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database http://www.sam.gov. This notice is not considered to be a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Requests for the solicitation will not be accepted.
