- OMBUDSMAN NOTICE SOLICITATION PACKAGE The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, Small Boat Product Line is seeking qualified sources that are capable of providing various Mercury Marine parts to support the 26' Trailerable Aids to Navigation (TANB), 32' Transportable Port Security Boats, 25' Response Boat-Small (RBS), and 29' Response Boat-Small II (RBSII). Alternate part numbers shall not be accepted. Deliver shall be FOB Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000 within 30 calendar days after receipt of each individual delivery order. It is the Government's belief that only Mercury Marine, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), or their authorized dealers can successfully manufacture these parts to ensure form, fit, and function with existing equipment. All engineering and technical data is proprietary to Mercury Marine. Therefore, it is the Government's intent to solicit and negotiate with only Mercury Marine, and/or their authorized dealers. This procurement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. One fixed price Requirements contract, consisting of one (1) 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods shall be awarded as a result of this solicitation. Solicitation Number HSCG40-17-Q-53017 is attached to this notice. Quotations are due no later than 2:00 PM EST on August 21, 2017. For information regarding this procurement contact Kelly Wyatt.
