- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: This is NOT a solicitation. The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick AFB, FL announces the anticipated release of solicitation no. FA2521-17-B-0006, issued as an Invitation For Bid (IFB). All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual solicitation document. This announcement constitutes the only pre-solicitation notice being issued. This IFB is being set-aside to Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) concerns; all other bids will be deemed non-responsive. Contract award will be based on FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding. An award will be made to the responsible bidder (IAW FAR 9.104-1) whose bid is responsive to the terms and conditions of the IFB and is most advantageous to the government, considering only price and the price-related factors included in the solicitation. Interested parties should register on-line and subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation via the Federal Business Opportunity website (www.fbo.gov). There will be no paper copies of this solicitation. All solicitation information may be obtained through the above referenced website. Project Title: Repair Lift Stations, Various, CCAFS Project No: DBEH 12-2713 Place of Performance: Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS), FL Brief description of the work: Contractor to provide all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to repair by replacement the LOCC lift station (Fac 27213), Photo Ops lift station (Fac 44407) and ITL Warehouse lift station (Fac 70448 and Fac 70533); and upgrade the Hangar NTU lift station (Fac 54720) and Repump #2 lift station (Fac 78170). Work to be performed includes: install new pumps, pipes, valves, check valves and bring all assemblies above ground as required; re-line or install new wet wells as required; provide new electrical control cabinets, main power disconnects and SCADA systems as required; provide washdown water; conduct system tests and start-up; and demolish existing lift stations as required. All work to be performed in accordance with the project technical specifications and drawings. Period of performance: 260 calendar days, including 30 non-access days, after issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP). NTP to be issued within 30 calendar days after award. Additional information: The applicable NAICS code is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction, the size standard of which is $36.5M. This acquisition will be a competitive set-aside for WOSB concerns. The IFB will be available by electronic transmission only at http://www.fbo.gov. The IFB is expected to be available on or around 7 Aug 17 with a bid closing date, depending on the actual release date of the solicitation, on or around 6 Sep 17. Potential offerors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website (www.sam.gov) to be eligible for award. Payments for this acquisition will be made electronically through the iRAPT - Invoicing, Receipt, Acceptance and Property Transfer (formerly Wide Area Work Flow) system.
