- RFQ #: VA262-17-Q-1448 Project Title: Temporary Long-Term Lodging for Veterans for VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services/items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and in conjunction with FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This combines synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) VA262-17-Q-1448. Submit written offers in accordance with Addendum to FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors outlined in pages 18-19 of this solicitation. Oral offers will not be accepted. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-95 effective January 19, 2017. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 721110 -, Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels, with a Size Standard of $32.5M apply to this procurement. This requirement is set-aside for 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). VASDHS intend to award a firm fixed price contract to provide temporary short-term lodging for veterans and their caretakers when the veteran is receiving medical care at VASDHS. A service contract will be awarded for the required services in accordance with the Statement of Work. The contractor shall provide all supplies, materials, parts, equipment, labor, supervision, management and transportation to perform all task to provide the required service in accordance with the Statement of Work. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. This procurement is a SDVOSB set-aside and all eligible offerors are encouraged to submit offers. To be eligible for award offeror(s) must be Verified in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) (https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov) at the close of this RFQ AND must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) at the time of award. Please see Addendum to FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors on pages 18-19. Quote shall be valid through 09/30/2017. Please see RFQ for detailed description of requirements. Quotes must be sent to Contract Specialists Duwane Snyder, duwane.snyder@va.gov, no later than July 31, 2017 at 10:00am PST.
