Description
Advanced EOD Special Operator Course (AESOC) The Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Office intends to procure Advanced EOD Special Operator Course (AESOC) Training Courses in support of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD). The objectives of AESOC instruction is specifically designed to train EOD operators assigned to support Naval Special Forces (NAVSOF) and provide an advanced level of instruction for EOD technicians supporting Special Operations. The course includes special operations and category 1 (A) scenarios involving EOD threat assessment, Home Made Explosives, Sensitive Site Exploitation (SSE), IED electronics, dynamic disruption, X-ray, manual neutralization, alarm system recognition and defeat, hostage handling, IED circuit defeat, CBRN Operations, mission planning and practical drills. The contractor shall provide required certifications and instruction on Home Made Explosives EOD threat assessment, Home Made Explosives, Sensitive Site Exploitation (SSE), IED electronics, dynamic disruption, X-ray, manual neutralization, alarm system recognition and defeat, hostage handling, IED circuit defeat, CBRN Operations, mission planning and practical drills. The estimated Period of Performance is August 14, 2017 to May 13, 2018. The Government intends to award on or about August 9, 2017 a single, firm fixed-price (FFP) contract to an eligible, responsible offeror. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the specific evaluation criteria will be outlined in the solicitation. When available, the request for quotes (RFQ) will be posted at the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) Web site, www.neco.navy.mil. The RFP will indicate the closing date. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 611430, and the applicable size standard is $11.0 million in average annual receipts.
