Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, is conducting market research to identify potential Contractors which can provide the following requirement: Description: Provide an Fluidotherapy Double Extremity Unit to the VA Pacific Island Health Care System, Honolulu, HI 96819. This requirement will be set-aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). However Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Other Small businesses (OSB) are also encouraged to respond to this requirement. In order for a company to be eligible as a SDVOB or VOSB the company must be listed and verified in https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/. The small business size standard for this requirement is NAICS 339112. The solicitation is anticipated to be posted on www.fbo.gov for download on or about June 15, 2017. Anticipated closing date of the solicitation will be June 20, 2017. Solicitation posting and closing dates are subject to change as necessary and amendments will be issued as accordingly. Potential offerors may submit questions regarding the project's requirements as of the date of this posting through a date that will be identified in the solicitation. All questions should be directed to Lavern Marshall, 650-493-5000, x63763 or via e-mail at Lavern.Marshall@va.gov and e-mail is preferred. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and business size e.g. SDVOSB, VOSB, Small Business, etc., point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; suggested equipment information including manufacturer, model and delivery schedule; whether system is presently offered on a current GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract. This Sources Sought notice does not constitute a request for proposals.
