- QUESTION: Do you have a drawing of the space available? ANSWER: No. The room dimensions are 22'0" X 25'0". QUESTION: Is floor covering required on the 3/4" plywood flooring? ANSWER: Yes, toughdeck (or equal) is an anti-skid surface for safety purposes. QUESTION: The system says surface mounted, leveled tracks but then notes anti-tip brackets. As Oregon is in a seismic zone, only anchored systems will meet seismic zone requirements. Are the tracks for the carriages to be anchored to the concrete slab? ANSWER: The decking is mounted to the floor and the tracks are part of the decking. No concrete or floor cutting. Unit will include seismic tethering. QUESTION: Are full height steel end panels required at the front of each carriage? ANSWER: Not necessary, but due to triple-lock down security measures that all military branches require for weapons, this system utilizes closed panels all the way around the unit with a mobile lock. End user requested component possess the capability to close like a box for securing purposes, meaning no racks exposed (key locked). QUESTION: What is the height of the fire sprinklers in the armory from the concrete slab? ANSWER: The clear ceiling height is 9'0". QUESTION: the V Grip Bulk Rack, how many shelves per section are required? Are all 3 sections connected or are they separate? A drawing would help illustrate the shelving layout. ANSWER: End user requested 4-levels of wire decking per unit with the ability to adjust shelving on 1.5" centers (adjustable). Safety - Wire decking for lighting and fire suppression. QUESTION: Can you provide a list with quantities of each type of weapon to be stored? ANSWER: End user based weapons racks count on current on hand and/or anticipated weapon count. QUESTION: Can you advise if retractable doors on the weapon racks is a must-have or if bi-folding (non-retractable) doors will be sufficient? ANSWER: Not necessary, however, end user prefers retractable doors due to traffic flow and safety measures. Clearance between racks when carriage is open is 3.5'. QUESTION: Will only the 18 weapons cabinets will be mounted to the high density mobile storage system? ANSWER: Correct. QUESTION: What is the number of shelves per unit for the VGrip Bulk Rack? ANSWER: 4-Level, heavy duty wire decking adjustable on 1.5" centers. Meaning beam levels can be adjusted every 1.5"s if customer desires to adjust levels in the future. QUESTION: Is the infill floor between the tracks plywood with non-skid tuff deck or resin deck required? Or do you just want unfinished plywood? ANSWER: Toughdeck (or equal) with anti-skid for safety measures. QUESTION: Do the weapon cabinets, mechanical mobile system, bulk rack and work bench need to be from one manufacturer? Not necessary, but end user preferred turn-key solution that matched warranty for all products. ANSWER: No, but all components must be compatible and maintain full functionality. QUESTION: Is installation required? ANSWER: Yes, end user requested turn-key solution - meaning, manufactured and installed by the same manufacturer. No sub-contracting installation.
