Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a solicitation to Oceaneering International Inc. (OII) to complete the development and delivery of the Transfer Under Pressure (TUP) capability within the Navy's Submarine Decompression System (SDS) and perform follow on maintenance, engineering and modification efforts on the TUP system. OII is the Original Equipment manufacture of the SDS TUP system. Due to the extensive work already completed by OII and the design expertise of OII, there is no other source capable of meeting the Government requirements for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Firms interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact OII directly. The work will be performed in Hanover, Maryland. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.
