- This is a special notice not a request for either a quote, proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to obtain industry comments and knowledge only for the purpose of assessing the availability of qualified sources. The 5th Contracting Squadron, Minot AFB ND is seeking sources for the delivery and servicing of fifteen (15) portable latrines to be used at the surrounding Missile Alert Facilites (MAFs). The NAICS code is 562991 -- Septic Tank and Related Services. This procurement may be unrestricted. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought notice, and if the Government still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published on Fed Biz Ops on or around 15 Aug 2017. No solicitation is currently available. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for future synopsis/solicitation as they will not be notified. The contractor would be responsible for providing fifteen portable latrines (must be heated portable latrines during the months of October through April) and the servicing/cleaning of all provided units to be performed on site at the MAFs as schedule dictates. Offerors having the skills and capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirement are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey/sources sought including commercial market information and company information via e-mail or facsimile (701-723-4172) to TSgt James Moore at james.moore.45@us.af.mil no later than 11 August 2017. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address. This notice is to assist the 5th Contracting Squadron, Minot AFB ND in determining potential sources only. This sources sought notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this notice.
