Description

As a result of zero responses to the BNOE sources sought (VA260-17-N-0272) which closed on 6 April 2017, the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order with one Small Business (SB) source, Reliable Sales and Services (RSS) Medical Distributors. The procurement is for a Myocardial Protection System. RSS Medical Distributor is an authorized distributor for Quest Medical (manufacturer). The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 339112. This procurement will be made under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) only one source readily available. Expected award date is July 28, 2017. This requirement is for: Portland VAMC 3710 SW US Veterans Hospital Road Portland, OR 97239 This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the market place for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted.
