- W15QKN-17-X-0APD Market Research PGK Modernization The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) - New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of the Office of the Product Manager Guided Precision Munitions and Mortar Systems (GPM2S) is seeking potential sources for the development and production of a Modernized Precision Guidance Kit (PGK). The Modernized PGK is required to utilize the new M-Code GPS technology and provide the soldier with near precision capability in the projected GPS operational environment. The Modernized PGK will be compatible with the following munitions, propellants and weapon platforms: Existing: M795 155mm Insensitive Munition High Explosive Projectile M549A1 155mm Rocket Assisted Projectile (RAP) M232A1 Modular Artillery Charge System (MACS) M777A2 Towed Howitzer System M109A6 Paladin Self-Propelled Howitzer M109A7 Paladin Integrated Management (PIM) New: XM1128 155mm Insensitive Munition High Explosive Base Burn Projectile XM1113 155mm Insensitive Munition High Explosive Rocket Assist Projectile XM654 Super Charge Extended Range Cannon Artillery System (ERCA) Prospective sources must provide sufficient detail in order to assess their ability to integrate technologies such as M-Code GPS, guidance and control systems and fuze technology into a product that will meet the requirements of the Modernized PGK program. Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6 to demonstrate by FY19; development to be complete in FY22; and production to begin in FY23. All responses to this market survey must be provided in the English language. All interested sources shall provide a detailed description of potential design solutions, identifying key components (to include ASICs, major sub-systems and associated vendors, etc.), system capabilities and TRL(s). This market survey is for information and planning purposes only, and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). All information received in response to this market survey that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to the market survey will not be returned. This market survey is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government. No award will be made as a result of this market survey. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. Prospective sources will be limited to the United States and Canada. Only responses from United States and Canada sources will be considered. Interested sources may obtain the PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENT DOCUMENT (PRD), Revision 15, for Precision Guidance Kit (PGK), dated November 2016 upon request and coordination with POC listed below. A Non-Disclosure Agreement (available upon request), a DD2345, and Form 1350 must be submitted prior to receiving the PRD.
