Description

Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Fluke Electronics (DUNS: 002687614), pursuant to FAR part 12, FAR part 13, and specifically FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. The NAICS code for this contract action is 334515, Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals (SBA Size Standard: 750 employees). The Product Service Code for this action is 6625, Electrical and Electronic Properties Measuring and Testing Instruments. The facility requires brand name only Fluke brand electrical safety analyzers and related equipment to be procured under this action are as shown in the attached table. Market research has identified only one source, the manufacturer Fluke Electronics (DUNS: 002687614), a large business. The electrical safety analyzers need to match existing inventory. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement, may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Friday, July 28, 2017, 08:00PM EST. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Daniel Spaulding, Contract Specialist, at daniel.spaulding@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
