In addition three below the hook (BTH) lifting devices will be NDT inspected and load tested as part of the contract. Each bridge crane has two trolleys with a main hoist of 125 tons and an aux hoist of 25 tons. The two bridge cranes operate in tandem for a total lift capacity of 500 tons using a 500 ton rated lifting beam. Rehabilitation work can occur either on site or crane can be removed from site. The cranes current lift capacity will remain the same. Mechanical All existing brakes for the main hoist, aux hoist and the bridge and trolley drive will be replaced. Second holding brakes will be added to the main and aux hoist. All main and aux hoist gearboxes shall be replaced with new along with new machinery bases. All motor couplings will be replaced.
