Description

This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Purpose and Objectives: Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. NAICS code: 541380 and sized standard is $15M. NOTE: Respondent claiming SDVOSB and VOSB status must be registered and CVE verified in VetBiz Registry www.vetbiz.gov. Project requirements: This requirement is for a contract to provide annual and semiannual certification of 8 Laminar, 1 1 BSE and 3 degrossing Hoods in the Lab Department owned by the VAMC Memphis. These hoods are used by the Lab to perform tests. All Hoods must be certified in accordance with manufacturer specifications and ANSI/AIHA A9.52003. Scope of Work: Contractor/Vendor shall perform airflow Certification once a year on the 11 BSE hoods and 3 Degrossing Stations in the month of November. The contractor/vendor will invoice upon completion of the tests. Contractor/Vendor shall perform airflow Certification twice a year (semi-annual) on the 8 Pharmacy Laminar hoods starting in November and a second test in June. Contractor/Vendor s service shall consist of all labor, materials, equipment, travel, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform annual and semiannual air measurements of the Lab hoods. The Contractor/Vendor shall provide TWO complete reports for each test to the Maintenance & Operations Supervisor at the VAMC Memphis. The Contractor/Vendor must be a certified member of the Associated Air Balance Council (AABC). Work Hours This requirement is to be completed during normal business hours at the VAMC. Anticipated period of performance: 1 October 2017 through 30 September 2018 plus four (4) one-year options. Information sought: Response to this announcement shall not exceed 10 pages and should include the following information: (1) A tailored capability statement indicating the firm s ability to provide a product and related services; (2) The respondents DUNS number, organization name, address, point of contact, and size and type of business (e.g., SDVOSB/VOSB, etc.,) pursuant to the applicable NAICS code; (3) Information should be provided electronically in a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format.
