- U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Anchorage, AK has a requirement for a commercial item or service. This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 (as supplemented with additional information included in this notice). This posting will be referred to under Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number F17PS01107. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will be issued and attached to this posting for reference only. This RFQ falls under procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13. This document incorporates provisions and clauses updated by way of the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) #05-95, effective Jan 19, 2017. This requirement is full and open and is not set aside for any socio economic group. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 336214, Travel Trailer and Camper Manufacturing and the business size standard is 1000 employees. This announcement constitutes the Government's only official notice of this procurement. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has is requesting proposals for an enclosed snowmobile trailer. The basis for award is Best Value to the government. 27' Enclosed Snowmobile Trailer. Cargo Toy Hauler Type, Multi- Function Trailer Length 27 ft Width 8 ft 6 in Tandem 5,200 lb. Braking Axles Rear Door Opening 84 in Cable Assisted ramps on BOTH front and rear of trailer Two(2) Lockable fuel doors along sides of the trailer for fueling equipment easier when loaded Fold Down Stabilizer Jacks for loading and unloading equipment will unhooked from vehicle Battery Mounted under the floor to allow lights and a furnace to be operated when working inside the trailer out of the weather(works when vehicle is not running or trailer not attached) Furnace / Heater Unit mounted underneath trailer with 40,000 BTU, propane run unit housed in aluminum housing. (Floor Unit) Fully Insulated for year round weather conditions Heat vent in furnace unit Extra connection for external propane tank for longer stays 30 lb. Propane tank mounted underneath trailer near furnace unit Two(2) Egress Windows to add natural light Two Fold Down Bench/Bunks for employee use if needed during travel and cold weather Armor Coated Tongue and Carriage to protect trailer from road and debris damage Enclosed Trailer Edge Guides Superglide Traction Strips OR EQUAL Installation of Superglide Strips & Edge Guides Super Clamp II (Front) OR EQUAL Super Clamp II (Rear) OR EQUAL Set of 8 Flex Glides (High) OR EQUAL Installation of Front & Rear Eye bolts for Super Clamps Spare Tire and Mounting Bracket, mounted. Offers received after this date and time will be considered non responsive in accordance with 52.212-1(f) and will not be evaluated.
