Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 6 intends to enter into a sole source procurement with Eastern Virginia Medical School, 358 Mowbray Arch Suite 305, Norfolk, VA 23507-2219 for Standardized Patient Training Services at various locations in support of VISN 6. NAICS code for this procurement is still being determined. However, NAICS 611430 Professional and Management Development Training or 611699 All Other Miscellaneous Schools and Instructions. The proposed contract action is for Virtual Women s Health Mini Residency with Standardized Patient which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Contract will be for a period of performance August 21, 2017 through August 20, 2018. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation. Interested parties may identify their interest in the requirement and capabilities to Veronica.boston@va.gov no later than 3:00 PM EST, August 3, 2017. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the government. No solicitation will be made available. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to complete this proposed contract based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
