- This requirement is for the spares purchase of the AN/ALQ-184 Electronic Attack (EA) pod Coaxial Microwave Drive Control, NSN 5865-00-007-6950EW, part number 578R611H04 using Full and Open competition procedures IAW FAR Part 15. The anticipated award will be for a Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract with one (1) base year and three (3) option years. This will be a Firm Fixed Price )FFP) contract. Delivery Protection Program (DPP) procedures will be utilized for this acquisition. This requirement will be a competitive effort with DPP terms. If the proven source is the successful overall best offeror, the Government will award one ID/IQ type contract with the Mission Essential Quantity (MEQ), Production option, and Out-year option(s) to the proven source. If an unproven source is the best offeror, the Government will award one ID/IQ type contract with the MEQ, Production option, and Out-year option(s) to the proven source and one ID/IQ type contract with the first article requirements, Production option, and Out-year option(s) to the unproven source. Under the proposed contract, Rodelco Electronics Corporation (CAGE Code 59926) will provide the MEQ to ensure continued mission support during the time allowed an unproven vendor to successfully complete the qualification of first articles. Risk associated with contract award to an unproven vendor will be mitigated through award of the MEQ to the proven source. The anticipated delivery for two (2) First Articles: 180 days after contract award The anticipated delivery for MEQ fifty-five(55) units: 180 days after contract award The aniticipated release date of the RFP: 31 August 2017
