Chapel is in need to be brought up to code as per the National Electrical Code (NEC). The Scope of Work includes the following: 1. In the meeting room section of the chapel, use the existing conduit, replace and dispose of the existing wire, then provide new wire and wire mold including a ground wire from the panelboard to all loads in accordance with (IAW) the National Electrical Code (NEC). 2. In the meeting room section of the chapel provide new grounded receptacles (20 Amp), to replace existing two wire receptacles, and Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) where required by the NEC. 3. In the kitchen, provide a new UL300A residential fire suppression system over the stove IAW NFPA 96 (current edition) that will provide an auto dialer alarm to dispatch, an audible strobe, be initiated by a high temperature (grease fire), and provide a shunt trip to isolate power to the stove and hood. 4. On the northeast wall of the chapel remove and dispose of the existing distribution panel. Provide a new panelboard, in the same location, with a minimum 70 Amp supply. 5. In the chapel, run the conduit behind the sound treatment wall. Temporarily remove existing furred out wall panels to run new conduit behind the wall. Reinstall wall panels upon completion of electrical installation. 6. Provide new breaker from existing feeder panelboard to the new panelboard IAW the NEC. 7. Provide new breakers for all spaces (used and spare) within the new panelboard. 8. Provide new conduit, wiring, and receptacles to power existing overhead projector from the newly installed panelboard. 9. Remove and dispose of existing carpet in the chapel. Saw-cut and trench the existing chapel floor and provide new conduit, wiring, and dedicated receptacles to provide power to existing sound systems. Patch concrete to enclose the trench and conduit. Provide new carpet over the entire chapel floor where carpet is currently installed. 10. Provide conduit through the floor to allow access to utility tunnel to run existing sound equipment signal cord to remove tripping hazard. 1 12. Paint existing conduit to match the existing wall color. 13 Provide all incidental related work The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The NAICS code is 238210 and the size standard is $15M. This acquisition will be procured pursuant to the requirements in FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding. Closing date is August 31, 2017. A pre-proposal site visit meeting will be held at Dugway, Utah, and the exact date, time and location is noted in solicitation.. This solicitation is a 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns only; no large business bids will be accepted for this procurement. The firm must be small business under relevant North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code and the must be registered and current in www.sam.gov Period of Performance 150 days from issued of Notice to Proceed.
