THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES OR PROPOSALS. The Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. Your response to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. A solicitation is not currently available. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 2), is conducting market research for qualified Small Business firms that are capable of providing two (2) Customized Compactors as outlined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Applicable NAICS Code is 333318, with a Small Business size standard of 1,000 employees. Offerors desiring consideration shall email a capabilities statement and the following information directly to the Contracting Officer, referencing the following in the subject field, VA242-17-Q-0960 Customized Compactors". Parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the supplies and services outlined in the SOW. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required supplies and services. Offerors, at the time of response, shall be verified in VIP if consideration is desired as a qualified VOSB/SDVOSB. Unverified VOSB/SDVOSBs will be considered non-responsive to the requirements of this sources sought and any resulting solicitation. Offers from unverified VOSB/SDVOSBs are deemed deficient and will not be considered.
