Description
Reclamation intends to award one fixed-price contract. The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, R17PS01333, (written) is approximately the second week of August 2017. The anticipated closing date is August 18, 2017. The anticipated award date is the last week of August. Prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to awarding any contract resulting from this solicitation. This award will be a base plus up to 4 option years: Estimated start of Base Year: 09/01/2017 - 08/31/2018 Option Year 1: 09/01/2018 - 08/31/2019 Option Year 2: 09/01/2019 - 08/31/2020 Option Year 3: 09/01/2020 - 08/31/2021 Option Year 4: 09/01/2021 - 08/31/2022 These items will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13, simplified acquisition procedures apply. This requirement is a total small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Government will evaluate quotes based on factors listed in the solicitation. Services shall be provided as follows: 4.1Provide quarterly visits (4) to the TPP for maintenance assistance on the Major Cranes. These quarterly visits are to review operation and maintenance. Provide recommendations and service assistance for optimization of system. 4.2Provide a performance review of the complete system of six major cranes and their control systems. 4.3Review with GCPO staff industry and specific current "lessons learned" for these specific and similar type systems. 4.4On-call (phone) support - four phone consults per year with an average duration of approximately two hours each. 4.5Software/firmware updates installed during visits. 4.6Off and on-site repair assistance. These tasks are to be performed on/or for all six cranes in the TPP area. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
