Description

Proposals are being requested and this solicitation DTFASA-17-R-00679 is being issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). If downloading is not possible, all requests for copies of the document(s) must be made in writing to the attention of Marc LeMay, Contracting Officer, via e-mail at marc.lemay@faa.gov FAA has a requirement for the Roof Replacement Project at Trinidad (TAD) ARSR- Trinidad, Colorado. Performance time for the entire project is 30 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The Primary NAICS code is 238160, Roofing Contractors, with a small business size standard of $15.0. This requirement is offered as a Total Small Business set aside. SITE VISIT: Site visits must be arranged during normal duty hours by contacting: Ricky DeWolfe at (719) 250-4762 or Ricky.Dewolfe@faa.gov no later than Tuesday Aug 15, 2017 at 3:00 PM MT. The site visit is scheduled for Thursday Aug 17, 2017 at 10:00 AM Mountain Time at the site location. Please provide Company Name, and full names of all attendees that will be attending when contacting the POC. All Requests for Information (RFI) must be emailed to the Contracting Officer (marc.lemay@faa.gov) no later than ten days prior to the close of the solicitation at 3:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) Potential offerors should note that the FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more offerors at any time during the SIR process To be considered for award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (website: www.sam.gov). All proposals must be received no later than Tuesday, Aug 29, 2017 at 3:00 PM ET. Any responses received after the closing date and time, will not be considered in accordance with AMS provision 3.2.2.3-14, Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested proposal documentation. SECTIONS L.9, L.9-1 & L.9-2 INDICATE WHAT SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN YOUR PROPOSAL. Magnitude of Construction Projects: The total estimated contract value is between $100,000 and $250,000. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
