Sources Sought Notice Umbilical Connector NSN: 1420-00-185-3487GF Part Number: 817-800-021 Background: This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for manufacture of NSN: 1420-00-185-3487GF (Umbilical Connector) for the United States Air Force (USAF). Contractors responding to this Sources Sought Notice should be aware that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. Neither the Air Force nor the Federal Government will reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 336413 (Size Standard: 1,250 employees) Instructions: Below is a document containing a description of the Umbilical Connector requirement and a Contractor Capability Survey. The survey allows respondents to provide an assessment of their company's capabilities. If, after reviewing these documents, you desire to participate in this Sources Sought Notice, you should provide documentation that supports your company's capability in meeting these requirements. Failure to provide documentation may result in the government being unable to adequately assess your capabilities. If you lack sufficient experience in a particular area, please provide details explaining how you would overcome the lack of experience/capabilities in order to perform that portion of the requirement (i.e., teaming, subcontracting, etc.). Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this Market Research. Joint ventures or teaming arrangements are encouraged. With a subject line: "Umbilical Connector" Sources Sought Notice Umbilical Connector NSN: 1420-00-185-3487GF Part Number: 817-800-021 Purpose: The United States Air Force is requesting responses to this Sources Sought Notice in order to identify potential sources that possess the manufacturing data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements for production of NSN: 1420-00-185-3487GF, Part Number: 817-800-021. This contemplated procurement will likely utilize a Multiple Year Contract with option periods. The total projected quantity of this procurement is 53. The Umbilical Connector provides an interface between the B-52 Bomber Common Strategic Rotary Launcher (CSRL), or the B52 Bomber Pylon, and the AGM-086 Training Missile. Describe your company's past experience on previous projects similar in complexity to this requirement. Include contract numbers, a brief description of the work performed, period of performance, agency/organization supported, and individual point of contact (Contracting Officer or Program Manager). What quality assurance processes and test qualification practices does your company employ? Please provide a description of your quality program (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.) Include a detailed listing of facilities and equipment required to satisfy the requirements of this effort. Provide an outline of the proposed process, including inspections. •B B. Commerciality Questions: Is there established catalog or market prices for our requirement?
