- Approved Justification (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested. (ii) A request for quote (RFQ No. R17PS00697) is being issued subsequent to this combined solicitation/synopsis. The RFQ and all associated documents may be found by going to the following website: https://www.fedconnect.net/, then clicking on "Search Public Opportunities Only", and then searching by "Reference Number" R17PS00697. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2005-95. (iv) This requirement is not set-aside to small businesses (full and open competition). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is: 334513 - Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 334513 is 750 employees. (v) Line item 0001 - Rosemont Model 3051C Pressure Differential Transmitter, Part No. 3051CD2A22A1AS2M5, Quantity: eighteen (18) each. Note - the approved brand-name justification is attached. (vi) The Bureau of Reclamation has a brand-name requirement for a contractor to supply and deliver eighteen (18) pressure differential transmitters as stated in Line Item 0001. Reclamation anticipates awarding one firm-fixed price purchase order as a result of this RFQ. (vii) Delivery date for this requirement is 45 days after receipt of order. Place of delivery is Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, Warehouse/Receiving, 7301 Calle Agua Salada, Yuma, AZ 75364-9763. Shipping should be free on board (FOB) Destination THE FOLLOWING CLAUSES, PROVISIONS, AND ADDENDUMS ARE APPLICABLE TO THIS COMMERCIAL ITEM ACQUISITION: (viii) FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items is applicable to this RFQ. The following addendum is also applicable to this RFQ. In addition to the requirements of the Instructions to Offerors - Competitive Acquisitions provision of this solicitation, each quoter shall submit a quote in accordance with the instructions contained in this provision. (A) GENERAL QUOTATION INSTRUCTIONS (1) Submit a quote with the brand-name product and part number (2) Submit the following information: Dun and Bradstreet Number Systems (DUNS): ______________ Contractor E-mail Address: ______________________________ (ix) Basis for award will be lowest price to the responsible quoter whose quote conforms to the RFQ will be most advantageous to the Government.
