Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR: Project 585-16-101: Correct Electrical Deficiencies Construction at Oscar G Johnson VA Medical Center, 325 East H Street, Iron Mountain, MI 49801. This solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small Business (SDVOSBs). The project is to provide for and furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, certificates, insurance, temporary protection, and other items designated under the provisions of this contract Correct Electrical Deficiencies Construction, VA Project #585-16-101, prepared by Berners-Schober Architects. The Scope of Work summary includes replacement of electrical panels and associated feeds, transformer, and distribution panel in bldgs. #1 & 2 at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center, Iron Mountain, Michigan. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps.gov. There will be a pre-bid site visit held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid site conference will be included in the solicitation package. The solicitation for this project will be issued on/or about August 17th, 2017, with the bid opening on/about September 17th, 2017. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOpps.gov which may be issued to this solicitation. The project magnitude range is between $100,000 and $250,000 The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238210; size standard $15 Million applies. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006, Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms. The SDVOSB must be registered with and verified by the Center for Verification and Evaluation http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, (CVE) prior to submission of an offer, and verified in the following websites: https://www.sam.gov to be eligible for award.
