Description

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) intends make an award to Thomson Reuters (Markets) LLC for the purchase of twelve (12) subscriptions to Gold Sheets Weekly on a sole source basis utilizing FAR 13.5 procedures. In accordance with 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Information on Gold Sheets Weekly is critical to the ongoing assessments of wholesale credit risk and asset quality determinations in banks. OCC uses this information to monitor and assess origination and underwriting activity in the loan markets. This requirement will have a period of performance as follows: Base Period: October 1, 2017 - September 30, 2018 Option Period 1: October 1, 2018 - September 30, 2019 Option Period 2: October 1, 2019 - September 30, 2020 Option Period 3: October 1, 2020 - September 30, 2021 Option Period 4: October 1, 2021 - September 30, 2022 This is not a request for competitive proposals; however, firms that believe they can provide a service that fully meets the Government's requirements may submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact by Friday, August 11th at 4PM EST. Such documentation will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a competitive basis, based upon the responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
