This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. Total Small Business Set-aside. The solicitation number for this requirement is 2017-13893 and is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The primer and top coat will be of the same manufacturer and designed to work in unison as an engineered coating system. • The unit shall be manufactured and wired in a workmanlike manner, tested and ready for operation when delivered. • An estimate of the freight expenses to deliver the equipment to the purchaser's site shall be included in the bid. • The bid shall state whether the power center will be tested as described in Items 60 and 61of the NIOSH_MINING UNDERGROUND POWER CENTER document or whether the performance is based on previous testing. • The bid shall include a preliminary schematic diagram. • The bid shall include the dimensions of the power center.
