Description

Sources Sought Notice This is a source sought notice and not a solicitation. The purpose of this notice is to determine if sufficient Veteran Owned businesses exist that provide the required equipment exist in order to set aside the acquisition. Description: This contract is for the replacement of Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR) for the decontamination team at the Coatesville VAMC, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Rd, Coatesville, PA 19320. Purpose: The purpose is to replace the current units that are in no longer in service. The current units were placed out of service after a notice came down from 3M that units had been recalled. They also gave a date for which the units should no longer be used. Most of our units were past their service life. Scope: The contractor shall provide eleven (11) new PAPR units to the Coatesville VAMC decontamination team. Ten (10) new CBRN cartridges shall also be provided with the units along with delivery. Requirements: All the units shall be NIOSH approved. The units shall have a backpack design for ergonomic use Powered from an alkaline battery pack. Hood shall be able to fit into the backpack. Hoods shall be constructed of butyl rubber. Note: Units are to be delivered to the Coatesville VAMC Training provided by the manufactor. Capable contractors must provide the following information: Name, Phone number, email address, socioeconomic status, product specification data sheets for proposed equipment
