- Description
- It is the intent of the Department of Homeland Security to award a sole-source contract to The University of Texas at Austin, Center for Identity for a study concerning the use of biometrics to improve the quality of daily life. This requirement is to define how biometric technology can improve daily life for a wide range of citizens. The requirement/study will observe the daily activities of citizens in order to identify opportunities where biometrics can improve their quality of life around protection, security, social media, and commerce. The project will then identify and analyze the requirements for these daily activities to drive the selection of biometric technologies.
