Description
STATEMENT OF WORK GENERAL INFORMATION 1. Title of Project: Workstation on Wheels 2. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in the statement of work (SOW), except as may otherwise be specified. The Lebanon Veterans Affairs Medical Center is requesting the purchase of 19 workstations on wheels (WOWs) to meet the expansion needs of the facility. The contractor shall provide 19 WOWs with varying configurations of drawers and accessories. The various configurations can be found below in the general requirements section. 3. Background: The Lebanon VA Medical Center needs 19 new WOWs to be used in various clinics throughout the facility. The WOWs are needed to supplement the current ones deployed throughout the facility and in some instances replace aging WOWs. 4. Performance Period: The contractor shall complete the work required under this SOW within 90 days of the award date. If the contractor proposes an earlier completion date, and the Government accepts the contractor s proposal, the contractor s proposed completion date shall prevail. Work at the Government site shall not take place on Federal holidays or weekends unless directed by the CO. 5. Type of Contract: Firm-Fixed Price B. CONTRACT AWARD MEETING A kick-off meeting is not required. C. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 1. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, programming, integration, documentation, services and other items necessary to provide WOWs that will meet the needs of the Lebanon VA Medical Center. 2. The WOWs must all come with the following requirements at a minimum: Lockable drawers (when required) Note: If the unlocking mechanism is a software application that is loaded onto the workstation, that software must be TRM approved to ensure it can be loaded onto a VA-imaged workstation. If the software is not TRM approved a mechanical keypad must be included to unlock the drawers. Built-in Wireless Communication capability Built-In Mini PC Non-Imaged Standard Serial Port Configurations Standard USB Configurations 500 GB Hard Drive 16 GB RAM 2.5Ghz Processor Speed Intel Core i5 Processor or better Compact Size USB hubs included in the WOW to support the connection of accessory items must be powered hubs Monitor Built in Privacy Screens Minimum size of 19 VGA connection Keyboard USB connection Separate, adjustable, sliding tray for keyboard Anti-microbial Washable Mouse USB Connection Smart Card Reader compatible with VA PIV cards Rechargeable, high-efficiency integrated power supply system Lithium battery Battery runtime: 8 hours Base Cart: Splash protection and anti-microbial for all exposed surfaces Sealed design that is water resistant and allows for cleaning and disinfecting Cleanable Work Surface Adjustable work surface with automatic raise/lower Caster and braking system: Four, swivel wheels, low rolling resistance on all surfaces All cabling shall be integrated into the cart with minimal exposure. Component cables shall be pre-run throughout the device to the PC holding area prior to delivery. 3. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITES 1. Contractor shall be responsible for the following: Shipment of the WOWs to the Lebanon VA Medical Center Providing WOWs to meet all specifications outlined in this SOW E. GOVERNMENT RESPONSIBILITES 1. The government shall provide the following: Uncrating of WOWs Disposal of any shipping/packaging materials Deployment of new WOWs to clinical departments throughout the facility F. OTHER CONSIDERATIONS (1) CONTRACTING OFFICER REPRESENTATIVE (COR): The Contracting Officer Representative shall be the technical point of contact for all work related requirements. The COR does not have authorization to change, alter, or remove any requirements stated in the performance work statement. The Contracting Officer is the only government authorized person to change the performance work statement or any resultant contract. (2) DELIVERY: Ship all materials to the Lebanon VA Medical Center, ATTN: Biomed, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042.
