Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for RFQ HSSS01-17-Q-0266 that will be negotiated on a sole source basis, with Action Target, Inc. The Government intends to negotiate a fixed-price commercial purchase order for preventative maintenance of an indoor firing range with Action Target, Inc. A Sole Source procurement is authorized in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 based on the fact that there is only one source that can provide maintenance to the indoor firing range. Due to its proprietary nature, all work on the firing range systems must be completed by an Action Target certified technician. All inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs must be in accordance with Action Target instructions. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 713990- NAICS Code 713990 - All Other Amusement and Recreation Industries. The Product Service Code (PSC) for this procurement is Z151- Maintenance, Repair or Alteration of Ammunition Facilities. **PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS: Interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements may submit a written capabilities statement to the items being procured. Written information must be submitted electronically to sean.murphy@associates.usss.dhs.gov. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Submission of information does not guarantee that this requirement will become a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to full and open competition, based on response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
