- N00164-17-R-WP35 - SOLE SOURCE - HIGH VOLTAGE OUTPUT TERMINAL - FSG 5940 - NAICS 327110 ANTICIPATED ISSUE DATE 17 Aug 2017 - ANTICIPATED CLOSING DATE 12 Oct 2017 - 2:00 PM Eastern Time ITEM DESCRIPTION- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for: High Voltage Output Terminals for use on the AN/SPS-49 transmitter high voltage power supply, for the purpose of isolating the -45KVDC operating voltage from the chassis, IAW a statement of work and Ceramtec drawing number 6398, part number (P/N) 6398-01-A. This requirement is planned as a commercial Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for a period of five (5) years. Delivery is FOB Destination. CLIN 0001: High Voltage Output Terminal in support of the AN/SPS-49 program in accordance with Ceramtec P/N 6398-01-A and Ceramtec drawing number 6398. SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT- The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Ceramtec North America Corporation, One Technology Place, Laurens, South Carolina 29360-1669, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. This is being sole sourced because the items are a direct replacement and specific items are required to meet exact form, fit, and function replacement part for existing equipment. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://www.sam.gov. The requirement will be awarded using the procedures at FAR 13. A formal solicitation will not be posted to the FedBizOpps website. Interested parties may contact the POC below.
