- The US Embassy Stockholm is hereby soliciting for a Contract for Repairing by Relining the sewer pipes and drain pipes in one of the Embassy's houses. There will be a site visit / pre-solicitation Conference and it will take place on Tuesday 22nd Aug 2017 at 10:00 local time. For security reasons you need to contact Josh Binay on 08-783 5448 or gsocontracts@state.gov at least 48 hours prior to the visit to inform which person(s) are attending from your organization. The closing date for submission of solicitation package is Wed 30th August, 2017 at 15.00, local time. If you wish to receive a Solicitation package please send a request for Quotation to the following e-mail: gsocontracts@state.gov GENERAL SCOPE 1) Filming inside of all concerned pipes 2) Prepare for relining by sanding and smoothening inside of all concerned pipes 3) Relining of the pipes 4) Opening of any branched off lines 5) All necessary measures for hardening and to finish up to a fully functional drain system. 6) Filming inside all concerned pipes and function testing 7) Hand over documentation and video films on thumb drives. DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL The Contractor shall remove all trash and excess material from the site of work. The work site is to be kept tidy and no tools can be left unattended at any time. The work shall be conducted so that there is a minimum disturbance for the mission. All material removed by the Contractor, because of his demolition/removal work, shall become the Contractor's responsibility for hauling off the premises.This material shall be disposed of by the Contractor in a manner acceptable to the local authorities. The USG REP shall have the option to retain any material that is considered useful to the U.S. Government. The work shall be performed according to established Swedish methods.
