Description
NSN 1R-4920-015643254-SY, REF NR 21C14002G04, QTY 9 EA, DELIVERY FOB ORIGIN. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit Rhinestahl Corporation (5QE71) and General Electric Co(99207). The intention of this solicitation is to award a firm fixed priced contract. NSN: 1RW 4920 015643254 SY ITEM NAME: ADAPTER TORQUE, AIR QTY: 9 The government intends to contract on a limited source basis. The above mentioned sources are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source.This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 332710. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotations or capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days (30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA)) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice of intent shall be submitted no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis to NAVSUP WSS Philadelphia, Attn: Kristen Shubick, Contract Specialist, Code (N762.33) 700 Robbins Ave. Bldg. 1, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Sources will be solicited on or after 16 AUG 2017 and the solicitation will close 30 days after the effective date of the solicitation. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair.
