- NOTICE TO OFFERORS: FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROJECT. NO AWARD WILL BE MADE UNTIL FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO MAKE PAYMENTS UNDER A CONTRACT. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS SOLICITATION, EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER BID OPENING, WITH NO OBLIGATION TO THE OFFEROR BY THE GOVERNMENT. The 452 Operational Contracting Office at March Air Reserve Base intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a firm-fixed price construction contract for the repair of airfield concrete and asphalt (taxiway A and alert fighter area), project PDPG 12-0123, at March ARB CA. The statement of work for this requirement requires partial depth spall repair, concrete popout repair, concrete joint seal, concrete crack seal, asphalt mircro-surfacing and apron area markings. This acquisition is total small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System code is 237310 with a size standard of $36,500,000. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. Contract period of performance is 150 calendar days. The Government intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. In accordance with FAR 36.103 sealed bid procedures will be utilized for award of a contract. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 18 August 2017, on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website https://www.fbo.gov, with a proposal due date tentatively scheduled for 22 September 2017 at 1000 PST. All amendments, questions and answers, etc. to the solicitation will be posted at FBO as well. No paper copies of the solicitation will be provided. After the solicitation is posted, interested parties are cautioned to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments. NOTE: In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and FAR 52.204-7, entitled "System for Award Management", Prospective contractors shall be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Recommend registering immediately at https://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for a timely award. Interested parties are instructed to refer to the solicitation for site visit date, time, and instructions on how to register to attend the site visit.
