Sources Sought Synopsis Only This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small business, small disadvantage business, Veteran owned small business (VOSB), Service disabled Veteran owned small business (SDVOSB), or large business) relative to NAICS 561730 with a size standard of $7.5M.   Note that if VA s pending market research establishes that two or more VOSB or SDVOSB, who are certified and verified in VA s Vendor Information Pages (VIP) site https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/, can perform the service, VA will set aside the underlying solicitation per 38 U.S.C. §8127.   Responses to this synopsis shall be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published on FBO and/or GSA eBuy. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors must respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. General Requirements: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network 22 Contracting Office is seeking sources that can provide Tree Trimming Services for VA Long Beach Healthcare System located at 5901 E. 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822. Contractor shall provide tree trimming/pruning services, which consist of the following, provide all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to accomplish tree trimming/pruning and the removal and disposal of resulting waste and debris. Contractor shall be a licensed Landscape Contractor for the State of California. Contractor shall be required to provide proof of State of California Landscape Contractors License. The period of performance is ninety (90) days from time of award or notice to proceed.
