Dunker Training Dunker Training Initial Aviation Survival & Egress Training (ASET2) for eleven (11) Soldiers on 5- 6 August 2017. -Helicopter underwater escape training using the Modular Egress Training Simulator (METS) (trademark) (Practical) -Fire fighting in the cabin/Cockpit (Practical) -Rescue/recovery training helicopter rescue at sea simulation (practical) -Crewmember duties, responsibilities and emergency coordination Hazards to aircraft and crewmembers -Survival equipment carried on aircraft -Aircraft accident/incident history -Crewmember incapacitation -Proper brace positions, emergency exit jettisoning and cabin evacuation -Life raft deployment -Emergency water survival skills: -Using Life Preserver Units (LPU) -Surface survival formations and hypothermia mitigation positions -Boarding and righting a life raft -Use of surface rescue devices in use by Search and Rescue responders HEEDS/ SEA Mk 2 - EBS equipment characteristics (HABD, HEEDS or SEA Mk 1.5) - Preflight inspection - Clearing procedures - Egress considerations - Shallow Water Egress Trainer (SWET (trademark) (practical) - Helicopter underwater escape training using the Modular Egress Training Simulator (METS) trademark Facility should be certified or accredited by US Army Aviation Warfighting Center, US Navy, US Air Force or US Coast Guard per Army Regulation 95-1. Helicopter Water Survival Training for aircrew members in accordance with AR 95-1. 11 personnel - training will take place at vendors location
