Description
The White River National Forest Contracting office will soon issue a solicitation for snow plowing / removal services for the Holy Cross Ranger District located at 24747 US Hwy 24, Minturn CO 81645-0190. This will be a replacement for the previous contract that closed out this summer at the end of it's 5 year term. We plan to use simplified acquisition procedures to solicit and award a new Base + 4 options year contract with services beginning in November of 2017. On this new contract, we would also like to add the Vail Pass Recreation Area parking lot located at I-70 exit 190. This could entail stationing a piece of snow removal equipment on-site during the season. We look for your ideas on how best to perform this service. This solicitation may result in one contract award or two depending on the capability of the vendors to service both areas. If you are interested in bidding on this solicitation, you are invited to email the POC with your contact info, DUNs number and capabilities. You will then be put on the interested bidders list. Schedule of Contracting Actions 1. 4 Aug - 14 Aug- Pre-solicitation - please contact the POC with your details. If you are not registered and active in www.sam.gov, this is the time to do it. Email the POC for detailed instructions on registration. Registration will be required for the award. 2. 21 Aug - 20 Sept - Solicitation posted to www.fbo.gov 3. 21 Sept - 30 Sept - evaluation of offers and coordination 4. Early October - Pre-Award Notification to successful offeror(s) 5. Mid October - Award and Notice to Proceed 6.
