- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Iliana Healthcare System VISN 12,1900 East Main Street Danville Illinois 61832, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1 (b) (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to request quotation on a sole source basis with Biomerieux for Mini Vidas Instrument Maintenance Services. NAICS 811219 applies. Contractor shall furnish all parts, labor, supervision, material, test equipment, and emergency services, including transportation cost necessary to perform preventative maintenance and unlimited emergency repairs on the two Mini Vidas Systems at the VA Iliana Health Care System, 1900 East Main Street, Danville, Illinois for the period of October 1,2017 through September 30,2018 to include an additional Four (4) One (1) Year options to be exercised at the discretion of the government. Services are to be provided in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, conditions and provisions of this contract. Any respondent to this notice must show that they are an authorized service provider for the mini Vidas instrument and have access to OEM Parts. Filed Technicians must be certified to repair and maintain said device. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 pm CDT on August 18th, 2017. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
