Description
Intend to award sole source based on FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) Contracts Department (254200D), China Lake, CA is seeking information for potential sources regarding contractor suport of AIM-9X, RAM, and ESSM Electronic Safety & Arming Device (ESAD) Operations & Maintenance Navy (O&MN) for fiscal year 2018 through 2022. The tasks will include the following: production sell off data; technical data package; ATP test set data package; technical inquires; expert opinion requests; root cause assessments; training; and conversion of an inert unit whose procurement is required to maintain the AIM-9X, RAM, and ESSM ESAD engineering support. The results of this Sources Sought will be utilized to determine if any opportunities exist. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N68936-17-R-0047 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm's experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule.
