- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri, intends to issue solicitation RFQP04141700025 for the requirements of Mixed Bed Deionizer Tanks and Carbon Bed Exchange Tanks for the Dialysis Unit. The anticipated performance period will be a base year with four (4) option years. The base year is estimated to begin on October 1, 2017, and will conclude on September 30, 2018, with the option to extend services an additional four (4) years. The contractor shall adhere to the delivery schedule established in the solicitation. Deliveries will be made to the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, 1900 West Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri, 65807. The North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this solicitation is 333318. The solicitation is restricted to 100% small business, FOB Destination, and is a firm-fixed price contract. The Government will award to the responsible contractor whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). The solicitation will be available on or after August 14, 2017, and will be distributed solely through the General Service Administration Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirements that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management, (SAM), database prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is on or about August 31, 2017. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
