- Description
- Synopsis: This is not a request for quote; this is a notice of the government's intent to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Navy Gateway Inn & Suites pursuant to FAR 13.5. Only one source is capable of responding to satisfy the agency's requirements. The US Marine Corps intends to utilize a single occupancy room aboard Naval Air Station/Joint Reserve Base Belle Chasse to lodge the Officer of the Day (OOD) for the Headquarters Battalion for MARFORRES. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations, however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by 8 August 2017 at 11:59 PM CST by e-mail to alexis.whitaker@usmc.mil. A determination by the Government to not compete the contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
