- Draft RFQ 17Q0024 The Marine Corps Recruit Depot- Parris Island, SC is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for Electric & Drop Arm Barriers that are listed in the DoD Anti-Ram Vehicle Barrier list, dated: June 2017: This list verifies that particular vehicle barriers have been certified in accordance with the performance standards in ASTM F2656-07 (Standard Test Method for Vehicle Crash Testing of Perimeter Barriers), or previously tested to the U.S. Department of State SD-STD-02.01 standard. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 332323 There is no solicitation at this time. This request for information does not constitute a request for request; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. A draft RFQ is provided in conjunction with this sources sought notice. If your organization has the potential to support this requirement, please provide the following information: 1) organization name, address, email address, website address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; 2) Provide information regarding the barriers available that meet the requirements specified in the draft RFQ. 3) Provide standard lead times and country of origin information for the equipment. 4) Provide information regarding standard and extended warranties of equipment and information related to maintenance service agreements for up to five years in duration. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses or procured through full and open competition. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to provide the barriers are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 14 August 2017, 4:30 PM Eastern.
