Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9, hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract, for one year, to GE Medical Systems Information Technologies, Inc. DBA: GE, 9900 Innovation Drive, Wauwatosa, WI 53226-4856. Contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 6.302-1. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition will be prepared. The period of performance shall be for one year beginning 10/01/2017 through 09/30/2018. The contractor will furnish the following: Schedule of Equipment Unlimited software support for Centricity PACS. Support based on 95K Procedure Annual Volume. Include Support for Unlimited Radiology Client licenses; Diagnostic, Clinical, Technologist, Exam manager or Web User Licenses. Include software support for PACS Base Applications services to include; Image Management, Image Volume, Dicom Acquisition, Image Transfer, Dicom Print, Enterprise Archive, Enterprise Web, BIP, Clinical Gateway HL7 Interface for up to 2 threads unless otherwise noted. PACS MAINTENANCE MAINTENANCE The scope maintenance includes the remote monitoring and provides for the following: 24/7 Remote operations monitoring and support Software Break Fix In the event the remote center cannot fix, on-site labor will be dispatched Monday thru Friday 7:30am-9pm excluding Government holidays. Major software releases Minor software releases Maintenance software releases to include labor Integration services for additional GE products Validation and verification of VIRUS dat files and security patches These services will be provided at the Memphis VA Medical Center, 1030 Jefferson Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104-2127. NAICS code: 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance (SBA Size Standard $20.5 million). These services are required to meet the Department of Veterans Affairs' obligation for patient care. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than August 14, 2017 at 2:00PM, Central Time (CT). A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
